On Monday, December 2, Luka Kinard was a guest speaker at MCHS. Luka is a 16-year-old teen advocate from High Point, NC. In 2018, he spent 39 days at an inpatient treatment center for a severe vaping addiction. In an effort to help other teens, he travels around the country sharing his story at schools, community events and conferences. He now works with Truth Initiative and Campaign for Tobacco-free Kids to help spread the word about the dangers of youth vaping.
